Who Is Jesus Christ?

Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior at the center of the Christian faith. The Bible teaches that Jesus came into the world to reveal God’s love, call people to repentance, give His life for our sins, and rise from the dead.

Through Jesus, we can receive forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and the promise of eternal life.

One of the most familiar verses in the Bible expresses the heart of this message:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16

But who is Jesus? Why did He come? Why did He die on the cross, and what does His resurrection mean for us today?

What Is Salvation?

Salvation is God’s gift of forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that sin separates us from God, but Jesus died for our sins and rose again so that we could be reconciled to Him.

Salvation isn’t something we can earn by being good enough or doing enough good things. It comes through God’s grace and faith in Jesus Christ.

To receive salvation, we must recognize our need for God’s forgiveness, repent of our sins, believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose again, and place our faith and trust in Him as Savior.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12

How Can I Be Saved?

You don’t need to have your life figured out before coming to Jesus.

You don’t have to become perfect first.

You come to Him as you are.

The Bible tells us that we have all sinned and need God’s forgiveness. Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross and conquered death through His resurrection. Salvation begins when we turn to God, believe in Jesus, repent, and place our faith in Him.

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Romans 10:13
