There IS a greener pasture!
“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Usually when someone is searching for Greener Pastures they want something better than they have at that time; better home, better relationship, better job, better car, better finances, etc. We, as humans, attempt to do everything ourselves. We carry a heavy load on our shoulders, we stress over finances, our kids, our relationships, our jobs. We end up getting sick and unhealthy. Some of us turn to alcohol, drugs, sex, food. We get angry. Everything we say or do is negative. Every day seems to get worse. Every day seems hopeless. We don’t have anything to look forward to. Have you noticed that these are just material things that started this whole mess to begin with?
Let me fill you in on a little secret. Actually, it’s no secret at all. The grass IS greener on the other side. But what awaits you doesn’t have a mortgage payment, it won’t get stolen, it doesn’t lie, it doesn’t cheat. It doesn’t let you down when you need it most of all. It’s an awesome man called Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only solution to true happiness and a stress-free life. If you are looking for hope, stability, positive outlook, health, you name it… Call on HIM, believe in HIM.
Jesus said “Everything is possible for him who believes” (Mark 9:23). Jesus says again “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). Note that these verses do not say some things are possible”. These verses say everything and all things are possible with God and for those who believe.
Allow Jesus to be Lord of your life. He will gladly lift that load off of your shoulders. He will help you make the right choices. He will fill you with hope and happiness. He will change your whole outlook on life. He is perfect, we are not. You will understand why you are here. All you have to do is call Him by name. Trust in Jesus, have faith in Jesus.
“The same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him” (Romans 10:12).
Christ is the perfect human leader and He wants to lead you.
Christ is the perfect model and He is worth imitating.
Christ is the perfect sacrifice and He died for you.
Christ is the perfect Conqueror and He conquered death to give you eternal life.
Christ is the perfect high priest and He is merciful, loving, and understanding.
